The Last Watch – original lighthouse keeper oil painting on canvas
Description
The Last Watch is an original oil painting on canvas portraying an old lighthouse keeper on his final night of duty.
Wrapped in moonlight and the steady beam he tended for decades, he stands by the shore knowing the light will continue its journey even without him.
A piece filled with salt air, devotion, and the quiet truth that some callings outlive the hands that held them.
Story
On his final night of duty, an old lighthouse keeper stands wrapped in moonlight and the beam he tended for decades.
He once guided ships through storms so strangers and loved ones could find their way home.
Now the night is quiet — not from farewell, but from knowing the light will continue its journey even without him.
“I did not keep the light so they would see, but so they would find their way home.”
