Story
Long ago, deep within the pine forest, lived an old woodcarver.
Mist always lingered around his cabin, as if the forest itself guarded its secrets.
One dawn he heard a faint, broken sound in the distance — someone quietly grieving.
A wanderer sat among the stones, sorrowful.
He told the old man that a great storm had torn him from his beloved, and he had been searching ever since. The woodcarver listened in silence, then said:
“Come with me. I will make something to guide you.”
He worked through the entire night.
The wanderer fell asleep by the fire, but the master’s hands never rested:
from the pine, two figures slowly emerged, shaped as if the forest itself whispered their form.
Into one chest he set deep sodalite, into the other soft amethyst — shining like two stars on a dark sky.
By morning, the old man was gone.
The cabin door stood open, and among the pine needles lay a small message:
“Follow the light. Your heart knows the way.”
